About Me
Hello.
My name is Marlene Sanchez and I am a 23 year old full-time web designer by day and a full-time student / Badass MC / Professional High-Fiver by night. I attend Platt College where I am currently finishing my Associates Program. My Degree will be in Multi-Media Arts and I plan to continue my education by pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Web Design. For the past 2 1/2 years, I've worked for a company called Autofusion where I design and build automotive websites.
My passion for Web Design developed in my senior year of high school. I took a graphic design class where I learned how to use photoshop and started designing website layouts. In my determination to have a working website, I taught myself HTML and CSS. Viewing source codes, reading articles, I taught myself as much as I could, but it wasn't until I was hired at Autofusion that my knowledge in coding was greatly expanded.
In my time off from school and work [meaning weekends] my roommate / business partner and I work on building the foundation for our new web service company. I also used to enjoy mountain biking and I'm sure once I find my asthma inhaler, I will enjoy it once again. I have 3 pets: my dog Zephyr, my frog Booger, and my hamster Squid. They all rock.
